Massachusetts native, Chef Shaun O’Brien has resided in the Emerald Coast since 2005. He has crafted his own style of cooking by bringing the experiences and recipes of his world travel and family traditions.

 

Growing up in a family of Chefs, Shaun started working in his mother’s kitchens at an early age, learning to cook and bake. As years progressed, Shaun worked for private hotels, 5 Star restaurants, Corporate Caterers and some of Boston’s finest chefs. In 2000, at 20 years old, an opportunity to become a Chef for The New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium was presented to him. Shaun developed meals for the team, staff and other personnel while also catering to the owners suites on game day. In 2003, Shaun moved to Orlando to work for Celebrity Chef Roy Yamaguchi at his famous chain of Roy’s Restaurants. After a trip in 2005 to Destin, Shaun fell in love with the area, and quickly moved to the Emerald Coast to continue his passion and starting ‘From The Beginning Private Chefs’.

 

Since 2005, Shaun has continued to grow his business and build relationships with his clients. He is now based in Santa Rosa Beach but travels across the country for his clients. He prides himself on his professionalism and use or regionally sourced food.
